Our academy exists for all to encounter Christ, who is Light, with hope that all will go out and transmit that light to our world. We support parents with an authentically Catholic environment, forming children in virtue, wisdom, and eloquence while leading them in search of truth, goodness, and beauty.
At Light of Christ Academy, your child will encounter Christ at Holy Mass every morning, have the opportunity for frequent reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion, learn about lives of the saints, be formed in virtues, contemplate and discuss ideas of the great thinkers of Western Civilization, formulate theorems and postulates to expand learning, apply reason and logic to their studies, and to discern what is the Will of God for their lives.
You will immediately notice, upon entering the academy, our unique and transcendent vision of education that rests first and foremost on a human anthropology. We recognize that God created us into Being and that all of humanity is one, good, true, and beautiful. Helping our students to discover the interconnectedness of all created things is the most authentic method of teaching as it nurtures an embodied approach to learning. Students then see that learning is not something "to do" but more of something "to be". Learning becomes incarnated and is given form.
We look forward to serving you.
